Kenneth Hite stated two key concepts to running a horror/occult role-playing game at Dundracon 2006.

1. apophenia
conspiracy - they interpret some fact I say as flavor text.

2. pareidol
meaning in physical patterns - they see a clue in something I describe as flavor text.
