My brother bought a house in Portland so I'm helping him move this Friday. I think we are all subdued AND excited. It will be sad that I won't see him every weekend but he's a first time home owner and Portland to me seems like an awesome city.

And I'm not biased because Sleater-Kinney is based there and I might have a teeny chance of running into Carrie Corin or Janet when I visit him (and I will be there whenever S-K or the Gossip perform there). And I'm not biased cause of the great food and vinyl stores. Nor the awesome landscape and the cool bridges of Willmette.

We're going to put all his stuff in a 14 foot U-Haul and attach his roadster (in Portland?) on the trailer and take two days to get up there.
